Our charity has a long history which has involved us moving home several times, but for nearly 60 years our home was at Brunel Manor in Torquay. Over the decades thousands of guests stayed with us enjoying fellowship, teaching, worship, and space to be with God. We hosted church groups at weekends and ran conferences, retreats and holidays during the week.
One of the special things about Brunel Manor was the team of staff and volunteers who kept the wheels in motion behind the scenes, many of the team lived on-site and while we formed strong bonds working, worshipping and playing together we also loved to welcome guests into our home.
Sadly the enforced lockdowns of the covid pandemic meant that with no income from visiting guests, we could not afford to keep running Brunel Manor, and it was sold in 2021. Our ministry moved online as we worked out a new vision for the future of the charity.
